Badruz Jaman leads real estate financing at Arkan Suisse, overseeing the firm’s structured finance platform and the delivery of bespoke, asset-backed and credit-enhanced solutions to institutional clients. His role centres on transaction structuring across acquisition, development, and income-producing property strategies, the optimisation of capital stacks, and the design of robust security packages. He ensures that each financing solution is scalable, conservatively underwritten, and fully aligned with institutional standards of governance, risk management, and execution discipline..

Badruz’s career began at Sequoia Capital in London, where he traded options on European government bonds as a market maker, before going on to establish the firm’s equity derivatives desk for the DAX and Euro Stoxx 50. During this time, he built one of the largest derivatives trading desks by volume and developed advanced algorithmic trading strategies across currencies and equities.

Beyond trading, Badruz pursued advanced qualifications in network security and enterprise infrastructure, becoming one of a small number of triple Cisco CCIE experts globally. His leadership in this field included rolling out contactless payments across Europe and managing cybersecurity infrastructure for multinational operations across 13 offices.

In 2018, he transitioned into principal investing, building an eight-figure real estate portfolio and launching a crypto execution desk. He subsequently worked with a £3 billion family office, advising on real estate development and joint ventures, while simultaneously establishing a regulated multi-strategy hedge fund. As Managing Partner, he expanded the fund to nearly £250 million in assets under management, with strategies ranging from FX to quantitative equities.
